We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Senior Cloud Administrator to work with our Artificial Intelligence Integration Center (AI2C) customer on cross functional program teams to expand AI into all areas of the US Army. This individual will have the opportunity to work with some of the most advanced technology in the world and work with an organization that is on the threshold of the future and will help forever change the way the Army operates. In this role, you will be working in multiple cloud environments and supporting operations with a heavy focus on IT support and Cloud Automation.
Responsibilities
Administer and deploy cloud native applications using containers, and container orchestration technologies
Deploy web applications with the following stack: ReactJS, Django, and PostgreSQL
Administer servers, workstations, network infrastructure, and databases for development and deployment.
The responsibility of the individual is to manage the instances of the cloud infrastructure services and the multiple cloud servers. The professional also leads, oversees and maintains, multiuser computing environment as per the requirements of the organization.
Will develop, configure, implement and manage the systems that comprise the underlying cloud platform.
Assists in setting up public or private cloud systems and will have to learn how to balance workload and deploy them in an automated way.
Responsible for monitoring and altering the systems as per the prescribed methodology.
Responsible for establishing and executing the cloud operations as per the specifications and parameters and will select the cloud providers while keeping in mind the requirements and implement cost-effective cloud-based systems that will fulfill the technical requirements of the organization.
Ensure systems, operating systems, software systems and related procedures adhere to organizational values.
Design and deploy compliant and policy-driven security protocols for effective desired state management.
Ensure a reliable, secured, and optimized systems environment.
Apply patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
Monitor systems daily, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs.
Education/Qualifications
Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance or above
Bachelor's Degree in a computer science, IT, electronics, telecommunications, or related field
Minimum 8 years of experience supporting Enterprise computing infrastructure and/or virtualization computing technologies
Should have knowledge of all, or most of, Docker, Kubernetes, Code Green, Proofpoint, Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, Azure, AWS, GCP, and other Windows-based technologies and the ability to configure VMs and Web Applications.

AWS or Azure certifications preferred
Must have strong technical knowledge of virtual machines (IaaS, Writing Code (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS).
