WSP is currently initiating a search for a full-time Project Manager - Substations to support our Buffalo, NY office to be involved in projects with our Energy Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.

Initiation, Planning, Monitoring, Executing, and Closing Projects - defining the project WBS,
Cost Baseline and OBS structure, initiating the project, building its comprehensive work plan,
controlling and managing to the risks, scope, schedule and budget
managing teams
projects focusing on meeting SPI and CPI performance indicators
customers
Accountable and Responsible for:
Cost /Budgeting and Management
Communication Management
Change Management
Schedule Management
Construction Management Oversight
Commissioning Management Oversight
Risk Management
Regulatory and Stakeholder Management
Some regional travel is anticipated.

Who You Are
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Able to work in a self directed environment
5-years of experience in Project Management
with 3 years of large scale utility project management experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Competence in analytical techniques in tackling technical problems with some complexity
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies. (DO NOT DELETE)
Project Management Professional certification is strongly preferred.
