Overview
The Synthetic Training Environment (STE) Cross Functional Team (CFT) is seeking a Simulation Software Developer to support the research, development and prototyping of advanced training capability and the future of Army training. This person will develop, integrate and maintain software tools and testbed environments to facilitate the prototyping of STE capabilities.
Responsibilities
Understanding of SOLID programming
Must understand data-oriented programming and data-oriented design
Knows how to query SQL databases from within simulation systems (i.e. Unity game engine)
Demonstrates an understanding of linear algebra and 3D math (i.e. understands quaternion math)
Experience with developing and editing technical documentation for software and software requirements to include documenting software architecture and workflow.
Experience in agile development methodologies.
Demonstrated experience with designing, developing, testing, and deploying software to include C# applications.
BONUS: Experience with designing and developing C++ or Java applications.
Education/Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
4+ years of software and database development experience.
Must be a U.S. citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
