The Department of the Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office (DAF RCO) uses accelerated methods for developing, acquiring and fielding critical combat capabilities. The office preserves the strength of U.S. ingenuity and innovation without the rigidity of traditional acquisition.
In this role you will serve as an advisor to government personnel to provide briefings and lead large meetings to support Department of Defense in evaluating Acquisition proposals and support peer level contract reviews. You will use your EVM/Scheduling knowledge to support several programs on:
Baseline implementations
Metrics establishment
Risk management
Earned Value (EV)
Schedule analysis
Program Execution Reviews
Mitigation planning
Training
Other program control functions
Qualifications
To qualify for this position you must have:
Active DoD Top Secret with Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance (TS/SCI)
Bachelor's Degree
8 years of experience supporting DoD programs
3 years working in a Program Management role on ACAT-1 programs
Understanding of Earned Value (ANSI 748) and the IPMR 81861A or IPMDAR reporting requirements and Risk management
Familiarity with Schedule Health Assessments (14 Point, DECM), Critical Path Analyses, and Schedule Risk Assessments

PMP Certification
DAU Level II Certification
