Ferguson Industrial has a position open for a Buyer servicing our customer. The associate will provide procurement expertise and customer service functions working onsite with a team at the customer's site.

Shift: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm
Responsibilities include:
Placing purchase orders, expediting shipments, and providing customer service functions
Enhance profit margins and focus on generating lean opportunities
Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to source requested items, reduce costs, and negotiate payment terms
Reconciliation of payable discrepancies and customer problems
Requirements for the Buyer role are:
Computer efficiency and knowledge
Detail oriented and proven organization skills with a high level of accuracy
Strong customer service skills and problem solving proficiency
A positive attitude, strong work ethic and phenomenal communication skills
Knowledge of MRO products is a plus but not required
