Summary You will serve as a DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES SPECIALIST in the NAVSUP FLCY of NAVSUP FLC YOKO REG. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 12.45% will be added to the stated salary. COLA subject to change at any time. Responsibilities You will participate in the development of long-range goals and objectives for naval Petroleum, Oil and Lubricant (POL) facilities and ensures that the Military Construction (MILCON) program supports those goals and objectives You will develop, gather, compile, and submit metrics data and project status to management for situational awareness, improved communication, and process improvement. You will interact with POL facility operators, POL engineers, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), DLA Energy, Military Services, naval major claimants and field activities, other governmental agencies, project Execution Agents, and private contractors. You will participate in multi-agency meetings to develop and review technical specifications, criteria, guidance, and standard practices for the DoD POL community. You will apply naval POL facilities management expertise through on-site inspections, compliance visits, and assist visits at fuel terminals. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing, implementing and directing projects for maintenance and repair of fuel systems and support facilities.
