While this position offers some work from home flexibiliy, you will need to go to our customer site at least 2-3 times a week in Orlando, FL. Therefore, we are looking for talented developers in the Orlando area, or who are willing to relocate to that area. You must also be a U.S. citizen in order to be eligible to obtain U.S. Dept. of Defense security clearance, which is also a requirement for this opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, test, maintain and document of our evolving cloud framework.

  • Containerization and orchestration of new and existing software products and tools in the cloud.

  • Automate software deployment processes by releasing incremental updates and developing automation tools.

  • Improve communication and collaboration to enable rapid product development by serving as the liaison between the Technology development and IT Operations teams.

  • Create more stable operating environments by continuously improving the infrastructure to be easily deployable and scalable.

  • Maintain advanced knowledge of agile methodology, development processes, and programming languages.

  • Advocate and train others in software devops best practices .

  • Up to 10% U.S. domestic business travel.

Education/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related fields.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance.

  • Must have experience supporting the U.S. Dept. of Defense.

  • 4+ years o bject-oriented design and development eperience.

  • 2+ years cloud development experience using Kubernetes and Docker and/or Helm.

  • 1+ years Java and/or Spring.

  • Experience working with either Microsoft Azure, which is preferred, or AWS.

  • Scripting experience with at least one of the following scripting languages: Bash, Python, Powershell, Terraform Node.js, and/or YAML.

  • PostgresSQL experience or familiarity.

  • Experience with Machine Learning algorithm development.

  • Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.

  • Experience working with data stores/databases.

  • Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills.
