BASIC DESCRIPTION:

This position will work with the NPD and Sustaining teams to accurately create and maintain documentation for our products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Duties include but not limited to modification and creation of test sheets, Engineering Change Orders (ECO's), create and/or revise part numbers, and structuring/modifying of Bill of Material (BOM)

  • Be the documentation liaison between Engineering, Materials, Marketing, Service and Accounting teams as well as internal and external suppliers.

  • Collaborate with the Technical Publication department, Engineering, Service and Marketing teams to create and revise Owner's Manuals, Technical Manuals, and Field instructions.

  • Understands implications and strategy to form, fit, and function for ECO's

  • Participate in Documentation Technician meetings to stay informed of and implement changes to documentation standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree required with manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Must be extremely detail oriented, organized, and willing to seek out information to ensure full and accurate documentation.

  • Must be computer proficient. Experience with Omnify and D365 is a plus.

  • Must possess great communication and prioritization skills, be a self-starter, work efficiently with minimal supervision, and perform well in a team-oriented environment.

  • Must have an understanding of how products are manufactured.
