Candidates must work well in a quickly changing, growth and success oriented culture. You will manage contracts in a variety of state, local, federal and foreign contracting environments. This is true fast paced cradle to grave contracting that will require the handling of multiple pre-bid opportunities, proposal work, negotiations, contract award and administration of the resultant contract. The candidate will have significant internal liaison responsibilities. The candidate must be able to work professionally and directly with customers and the Vice President of the practice.
The Contracts Administrator position reports to the Senior Manager of Contracts.You will be a part of a robust contracts management team to include 20 contracts administrators. This team supports about 500 contract vehicles. In this position you will be the administrator of about 20-30 contracts.
In this role, you will:
Must have experience with state contracting regulations in general and quickly perform sophisticated risk analysis for new and ongoing opportunities.
Develops and integrates contract management tools, templates, methods and processes for the engagement.
Performs risk analyses on RFP's and provides guidance to the proposal team.
Reviews and manages contractual obligations of the company and provides continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met.
Prepares and disseminates information regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, etc.
Acts as the primary contact between the project team and/or business unit and legal, ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly.
Acts as liaison between the Operations team and the Customer Contracting Officer.
Manage GSA Schedules to complete and maintain records and monitor contractual compliance and performance.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
High School Diploma
6 years of applicable industry experience
Demonstrated knowledge in using Microsoft Office (Word)
Experience using PDF
Ability to travel locally within geography and a potential for limited long distance travel
A proven track record as a self-motivated/completion oriented individual.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Seasoned negotiation skills with Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, and State and Local terms and conditions
Hands on experience with GSA Schedules administration
Able to demonstrate excellent analytical skills
Sound business judgment taking into account true degrees of business risk versus reward
Compressive knowledge of general state procurement processes
Ability to resolve complex contracts and pricing issues
Strong systematic research capabilities to establish and confirm facts, identify client process and procedures as well as identify unknown risks
Able to advise and interact with all levels of management, both internally and with the customer
