Mythics Engineering & Development is looking for a Computer Science Intern / Co-Op. This is a fast-paced summer/winter-break/co-op training program to give you an introduction to the Hybrid and Multi Cloud operations and Cloud Native application development. You will work directly with a Senior member of the team as your mentor supporting a variety of Engineering and Development projects. You will build tools to use AI/ML and time series techniques to derive novel insights regarding our customer problems and data-driven AIOps. We will provide you hands-on experience using state-of-the-art cloud platforms such as Oracle's OCI, AWS and Google Cloud Platform to develop applications. This position will be remote. We are open to part-time and full-time hours.
Mythics Co-Op program is an experiential learning program designed for Computer Science and Business major students who would like to gain experience in Cloud, Engineering, Development and Digital Marketing. Typically, students who are rising juniors and seniors join this program for a semester and work full-time during that period. During this time you are given real world problems and projects to work on with an opportunity to implement the skills learned in college classrooms. Mythics co-op program allows students to take on increasing levels of responsibility and make meaningful contributions to our organization.
Minimum Requirements:
Currently, a full-time Undergraduate (Junior/Senior) or Master's student in Computer Science and/or Math
Experience programming in Python, Linux and JavaScript is a must; Go, Java is highly desired.
Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, algorithms, data structures and systems and applications programming.
Ability to self-manage assigned tasks and projects.
Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to analyze and fix problems quickly.
Ability to review code and figure out how it works, and how to make it better.
Preferred/Desirable:
Knowledge of Swift, Kotlin, C++
Knowledge of AI/ML, Deep learning algos
Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, github
Docker and K8s
Node.js and UI development frameworks (React or Angular)
Knowledge of REST API, GraphQL
