Serco supports federal and state contracts across the US and Canada, in the areas of Defense, Civilian, and State/Provincial agencies. In this role, you will be supporting our entire business portfolio and missions (visit https://www.serco.com/na/about to learn more).
You will be managing a growing sourcing team that supports our growing Talent Acquisition organization that is 50+ employees strong across the US and Canada. You will be a key stakeholder in Serco's efforts for our brand and to identify and attract top talent. As part of the Management team, you will be vital in our collaboration and development shaping our process, procedures, and best practices. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition Operations.
In this role you will:
Manage a team that includes our Recruitment Marketing Specialist and our Sourcing Specialists utilizing unique methods of recruiting sourcing techniques.
Be the internal Product Owner for our iCIMS Nurture CRM tool. Utilize reports, systems and processes to ensure a high level of data integrity enabling accurate data tracking and reporting according to company standards and procedures.
Own the vendor relationships with all the Job Boards and other advertising and marketing vendors, which includes measuring ROI and making recommendations on these resources.
Work directly with our Marketing & Advertising partner to sponsor and advertise Serco's exciting opportunities in targeted recruitment strategies.
Identify methods to automate and innovate, using technology wherever applicable to build candidate pipelines for current and future needs
Build strong effective relationships with peer Recruiting Managers to help build out recruiting plans and strategies to support their individual business units as we win new contracts.
Ensure the team possesses the required level of professional expertise and training to enable delivery of service, participate in continuous professional development and initiating appropriate development interventions - undertaking all activities as a People Manager including providing regular performance and development feedback.
Maintain knowledge and awareness of the Serco brand, execute appropriate use of brand collateral when communicating with candidates, act as ambassador of the Serco brand and Employee Value Proposition.
Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of leadership, responsibility, innovation and latitude is expected.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A bachelor's degree (or experience in lieu of), 7+ years of experience in sourcing and 5+ years of experience leading sourcing strategies and partnering with management.
Minimum of 5 years of Federal and/or State & Local government contracting experience.
Strong understanding and experience in all elements of the recruiting process.
Strong data, reporting production and analysis, and attention to detail.
Strong organizational, problem solving, and strategy development skills.
Exceptional stakeholder management and customer service skills.
Technical aptitude in the use of business software and applicant tracking systems (iCIMS preferred) with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and HRIS databases, as well as sourcing technologies, Chrome extensions, etc.
Demonstrable people management skills, including recruitment, development, performance management, resource deployment and employee engagement.
Experienced in change management, workforce transformation best practice, and efficiencies in talent/recruitment/resourcing functions.
Understanding of workforce planning cycles and how these can be converted into robust hiring plans and pro-active strategies.
Knowledge of and understanding of key risks in relation to the end-to-end recruitment process, including the implication of key legal and compliance (EEOC/OFCCP) requirements.
