Summary You will serve as a Supply Technician (Office Automation) in the Fleet Logistics Center Site China Lake of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR SAN DIEGO. NAWS China Lake provides and maintains land, facilities and other assets that support the Navy's research, development, acquisition, testing and evaluation (RDAT&E) of cutting-edge weapons systems for the warfighter. NAWS China Lake is located in the Western Mojave Desert region of California, approximately 150 miles north of Los Angeles. Responsibilities You will be responsible for technical accuracy and timeliness of transactions regarding high cost repairable assets, perform in-depth research of files, publications and other pertinent documentation prior to input. You will research and solve customer carcass tracking/supply problems, and provide expert advice on carcass tracking related matters. You will perform comprehensive investigations and analysis of the supply system, repair cycle, mechanized stock, and financial records to determine if actual material loss exist. You will ensure the carcass tracking procedures are kept up to date. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing a knowledge of Carcass tracking procedures for the accurate maintenance of a Carcass tracking file and experience researching carcass tracking/supply problems. Examples of specialized experience may include: 1) Conduct update actions as required, including modifying, adding or deleting data of a Carcass Tracking system; 2) Conduct research of data received on daily listings and weekly management reports; 3) Investigate a supply system, repair cycle, mechanized stock, and/or financial records to determine if actual material loss exists; and 4) Ensure carcass tracking procedures are kept up to date.
