Digital Strategy Manager
The Digital Strategy Manager is responsible for developing and optimizing Georgia Power's digital presence and implementing multi-channel digital campaigns. The successful candidate must be a seasoned, digital marketing leader who is passionate about leading a team in ideating and executing best in class digital marketing campaigns and programs across social media, email marketing, web and mobile applications. The successful candidate will develop and analyze performance of campaigns that engage our audiences online and optimizes digital content deliverables. This role will lead the Digital Strategy team and will report to the Brand Director.
Due to the vital role digital media plays in driving brand favorability, the Digital Strategy Manager must be extremely knowledgeable on how to drive growth and brand affinity across multiple digital channels and create email marketing strategies to increase engagement and build brand sentiment.
The position is based out of Georgia Power Corporate Headquarters in Atlanta, and currently allows for a hybrid work environment depending on departmental needs.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, related discipline, or other appropriate experience.
5 years' experience in strategy, with an emphasis on digital executions; PR and/or agency experience preferred.
3 years of supervisory experience; passionate people leader with demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
Knowledge of digital channel engagement strategies and corresponding KPIs
Working knowledge of digital strategy best practices
Experience with programmatic/display, such as Google Campaign Manager and Display & Video 360 experience.
Experience with paid social platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok.
Experience with email marketing programs, like Eloqua or similar tools.
Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud, like Adobe Analytics or similar tools.
Experience prioritizing multiple projects involving internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, oral and written.
Analytical nature and ability to make decisions based on insights and metrics.
Strong design sensibility.
Responsibilities
Taking a creative and data-driven approach to drive a unified digital strategy supporting social, web, email and mobile experiences.
Oversee the creative and editorial execution of the georgiapower.com website and other digital channels managed by Corporate Communications group.
Recommending new email marketing approaches that drive customer engagement and provide an experience that culminates in measurable results.
Establishing processes that ensure extensive QA and brand alignment in digital content, ensuring accurate content, functional links, and proper distribution based on requirements.
Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of strategists, designers, developers and subject matter experts.
Writing and presenting experience debriefs, gap analysis, competitive assessments, customer journeys and provide solutions to support key digital marketing initiatives.
Identifying the trends and technology shaping the future of consumer behavior and implement new strategies for a better user experience.
Working with the Brand Director to identify, hire and maintain key external partners to continuously improve our approaches and/or experiment with new ones.
