Audacy, a leading multi-platform audio content and entertainment company that reaches over 300M people each month, is seeking a Digital Sales Director for Southern California.
Reporting to the Regional President, and working cross-functionally with all Department Leads, the Digital Sales Director will be responsible for the successful achievement of the So Cal digital sales goal. The candidate must have experience in audio (streaming and podcasting) plus first-hand working knowledge of the following products; SEM/SEO/Mobile/Display/OTT. A deep understanding of Google Analytics is vital to this role.The ideal candidate has a history of effectively leading a large sales organization and can and can recruit and retain top talent. identify and buy high-quality host-read ads at scale from a diverse group of creators
across 50,000 podcasts.
The Audacy direct-to-consumer digital audio platform, reaching 40M monthly active users
across mobile and connected device apps and websites, featuring more than 1,000
streaming stations in over 100 markets, along with top podcasts and exclusive live and
on-demand content across music, news and sports, available on more than 10,000 devices.
A robust sports-betting business, including the BetQL digital platform, with proprietary
predictive analytics that helps all bettors - from beginner to sharp - make better bets, and a
robust slate of live and on-demand sports betting audio and video content, built to engage
and entertain.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Ensure achievement of the quarterly goal for the digital sales in Southern California
Fine-tune and maintain a best-in-class digital operations process. Planning, Campaign
Management, and Ad Ops team
Ensure alignment at all times between Local and Corporate Product and Content teams, and
Sales and Marketing teams, to maximize revenue while also ensuring a frictionless process for
speed to market
Act as a key executive leader across the So Cal digital businesses, motivating teams, driving
strong collaboration across multiple departments, and helping to facilitate a
high-performance culture where the best talent can thrive
Qualifications
Required & Preferred:
10+ years of experience as an Digital Sales (at least 5years in a leadership role)
Experience in both startup and at-scale operations
Strong communication and partnership skills
Process-oriented leader with significant program management experience
Ability to help bring new partners onto the Audacy platform
Strong leadership and mentorship skills, including the ability to develop talent and build a
high-performance culture across the organization
