In this USAFCENT Facilities Manager role, you will:

  • Assist the 9 AF (AFCENT) Facility Manager and 609 Air Support Squadron (ASUS) Facility Managers with technical planning, scheduling, coordination, and accomplishments of all maintenance, repair, and safety programs.

  • Oversee buildings 1130, 1102, 215, and 35.

  • Will oversee the Shaw Warfighting Platform (SWP) facilities (buildings 1901, 1902, 1903, 1921, 1923, and building 1947 609 AOC allocated facilities.

  • Be responsible to interface and communicate with customers, contractors, and other Government officials occupying supported facilities directing emergency and routine calls into the Base Civil Engineering customer service counter for maintenance as required.

  • Maintain Directorate Facility Manager Letters and TRIRIGA Training Certifications and validates Facility Manager Letters monthly to ensure availability of Military or Government Service (GS) civilians for after normal duty hours emergency situations.

  • Act as the command's focal point for facility safety issues.

  • Oversee USAFCENT facility safety programs in conjunction with USAFCENT Safety Manager.

  • Be developing and posting Fire Reaction Plans, promoting Fire Safety, inspecting/maintaining Fire Extinguishers and Automated External Defibrillators (AED), complying with health, safety, environmental rules, procedures and conducting daily inspections of the facility and grounds to identify deficiencies needing corrective action

Additional roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Serve as the key control authority for issuance/re-issuance of building and office keys.

  • Support will include ensuring keys are not duplicated without express permission of security or the key issuing authority, issue keys to new personnel by security or key issuing authority as needed, ensure all issued keys shall be returned to security or key issuing authority upon departure of personnel, and coordinate with USAFCENT Security to have access to all locked rooms based upon contractor security clearance.

  • Evaluate requests for maintenance and repairs. Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance and repair work. Assist with quality assurance evaluations for all maintenance.

  • Coordinate with 20 Civil Engineering personnel to facilitate the timely accomplishment of work orders. Review and document work and repair of real property.

  • Maintain an internal tracking system for all work orders, repairs and preventative maintenance. Be prepared to provide routine updates to 609 ASUS, 609 ACOMS and 9 AF (AFCENT) Facility leadership.

  • Coordinate with the 9 AF (AFCENT) Facility Working Group on the implementation of new building projects. Execute equipment audits and record taking policies.

  • Ensure effective space management program in accordance with 20 Fighter Wing (FW) guidance and coordinate with 20 FW on parking requirements, such as reserving and assignment of spaces.

  • Consult with superiors and initiate required corrections for debris and snow removal.

Qualifications

To be successful in this USAFCENT Facilities Manager role, you will have:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Seven years' experience in facility management, facility maintenance, and/or construction.

  • Three years' experience with general application of standard concepts and construction principles.

  • Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems.

  • TRIRIGA Real Estate Environmental course completion (or completion within 60 days of employment start, at company expense).

  • Able to work in confined spaces, climb, bend, stoop, and work at heights.

  • Two years' experience with Microsoft Office Applications

  • Ability to travel = 10%
