Purpose of PositionThe Mechanic I performs skilled maintenance, diagnosis, and repair work on motorized equipment, heavy equipment, and vehicles, under the general supervision of the Shop Foreman.Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions High school diploma or equivalent with two years experience in the repair of motorized equipment or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.
