Job Summary
As an Operations Team Member II, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, counts, verifying materials and shipments, accessing computers to update information, as well as point-to-point movement of materials in support of assembly operations.
Job responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
Work closely with production team to ensure they have the right parts, at the right time in the correct location
Run a variety of reports in SAP to track material needs, kit available material, and identify material not allocated to an order
Complete cycle counts of inventory to ensure accuracy in all material transactions
Receive and ship materials, process material movements using SAP software.
Visually inspect all incoming material and equipment, verifying all items are received and are in good condition.
Ensure shipping weights and dimensions are accurate on all records
Use proper safety precautions when delivering material and operating equipment
Equipment used includes various types of forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, brummel, battery chargers, computer, scales, shrink wrap, wrap, etc.
Responsible for training for other Material Handlers
Completion of all OSHA and company required training.
Communicate effectively with a wide range of contacts within and outside the company.
What you will have:
Must have a minimum of 1 year assembly experience in the Global Solution enclosure build process.
Must have an excellent attendance record, strong work ethics and solid people skills
Must be a team player and work well in a team environment
Must be able to resolve individual and team conflicts
Mush has excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must have solid blueprint reading skills and strong technical/mechanical aptitude
Must be proficient with AQE, HVC, and other typical software applications
What would make you a top candidate:
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience in a receiving/inventory environment
ESAP Certification
Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
Ability to perform repetitive operations
Ability to lift to 35 lbs.
Individual must have the ability to work in a fast pace, heavy assembly, technical environment
