Engineer Lead Data Analytics Location: REMOTE W@H
Build the Possibilities. Make an extraordinary impact. The Engineer Lead is responsible for full delivery of end-to-end system development and maintenance on medium Enterprise-wide technology platforms. Support overall production management, lights on, balancing and controls Foundation data platform and enablement.
How you will make an impact:
Manage production runs for applications, review production failures and provide or review resolutions.
Performing balancing and control activities for balancing on claims and membership data with general ledger
Maintains active relationships with customers to determine business requirements and leads requirements gathering meetings.
Owns the change request process and may coordinate with other teams as necessary.
Provides technical advice and weighs in on technical decisions that impact cross functional teams.
Performs technical design reviews and code reviews, technical testing to ensures unit test is completed and meets the test plan requirements, system testing is completed, and system is implemented according to plan.
Facilitates group sessions to elicit complex information on requirements clarification, design sessions, code reviews and troubleshooting issues.
Architect and design ETL solutions in Informatica, SQL queries and stored procedures, APIs and securing them for internal/external access.
Perform quality checks, test strategies, business requirement to test cases and setting up regression test case is desirable.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 7 years related experience; multi-platform, multi-dimensional experience, and expert level experience with business and technical applications; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Experience working with large data warehouses and different warehousing technologies including Teradata, AWS, Snowflake.
Experience with data flow (ETL) process architecture, design, build and test for analytic software solutions using RDBMS (Teradata), SQL Server, Informatica, Unix.
Experience with advanced scripting on the UNIX operating system to manage files, processes, initiate and control various data-related jobs.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
Experience designing, building, and testing analytic software solutions using Big Data technologies (HDFS, Hive, Impala, Kafka, Spark, Scala).
Experience with performance tuning of BTEQ jobs, Informatica mappings/workflow.
Applicable to Colorado Applicants Only Annual Salary Range*: $110,400 - $138,000.
