Job Description:
This person will contribute to the company's success by supporting the network integration of manufacturing equipment for the Jefferson Road Operations Center. It is essential that this role works effectively in a cross functional team environment as well as possess the ability to be self-sufficient when distilling enhancement requests from internal customers into actual deliverables. This role will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and is responsible for successfully maintaining equipment networking systems while developing automation for manufacturing processes and data visualization tools.
Essential Functions:
Qualify analysis needs and work product requirements of internal clients.
Translate client needs and requirements into specific data, logic and reporting requirements and work plans.
Structure analysis to provide conclusive insights that directly align to decision-making.
Prioritize and balance multiple activities and proactively communicate status to manage stakeholder expectations.
Understand data sources and logic to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely deliverables.
Build, run and automate data queries, analysis, and reports with Visual Basic, SQL and Tableau.
Integrating various manufacturing equipment and software with IT network structures
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Highly motivated self-starter who's able to operate with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Experience using .net software and SQL database tools for data analysis, data mining and/or reporting.
Understanding of manufacturing systems, production processes, technical standards, and assembly equipment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
A successful track record in planning, executing, and tracking personal task assignments.
Lean Six Sigma training, preferably Yellow or Green Belt certification.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York State is $61,000 - $113,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
