This Opportunity

WSP is currently initiating a search for a Junior Software Implementation Consultantto work remotely, supporting our global Digital Solutions Team. Working with a wide range of internal and external clients in various industries, you will solve complex requirements, lead technical project teams, and develop designs for Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) Software solutions.

Your Impact

  • Interact with customers using a variety of means to obtain technical details required for configuration

  • Interact with, subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders in a confident and professional manner.

  • Configure software per design specifications

  • Verify configurations via thorough end-to-end system testing, providing resolutions and feedback.

  • Develop detailed documentation for quantitative testing, such as calculation verification of asset / facility-level results.

  • Design and develop reports and dashboards using commercially available software packages and tools.

  • Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) data from one system to another.

  • Demonstrate software configuration and base functionality to customers in informal and formal settings

  • Deliver and develop training, technical documentation and training materials for customer and/or project team use

  • Develop test scripts and support customers through UAT

  • Perform data migration and cleansing activities

  • Analyze and interpret large, complex data sets

  • Troubleshoot configuration issues during deployment and rollout activities

  • Drive tasks and supporting project timeline, deliverables, and internal and external communication.

  • Support customer account team during post deployment and rollout activities

  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

  • Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

  • 1-3 years of relevant post education experience working with an information software platform and/or one or more of the following subject areas: environmental permitting and compliance, emission calculations, occupational health and industrial hygiene, safety incident management, sustainability, and resiliency, and/or quality management or risk management (operational or enterprise).

  • Well-developed analytical mindset with an ability to exercise sound judgement in evaluating situations, applying logic, making decisions, and providing objectivity.

  • Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, and effectively articulating complex data in a simple, actionable manner.

  • Well-developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills required to apply technical knowledge to reach conclusions from testing results, data collation, load calculations, statistical analysis and arriving at the most effective, economical, and logical solution.

  • Highly effective self-leadership with attention to detail, accuracy, results orientation, and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.

  • Highly effective at working independently and providing guidance and leadership to junior team or project members, with strict adherence to QA/QC.

  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.

  • Must be flexible to a variety of schedules to meet business needs and able to prioritize responsibilities and quickly adapt to change in a pressure work environment.

  • Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.

  • Experience with large data set and spreadsheet experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics background.

  • Certifications related to Data Science, Information Management, Business Management, Project Management

  • Bilingual (English and additional language)

  • Experience with one or more of the following software packages: Enablon, Intelex, Cority, VelocityEHS, Watershed, Sweep, Sphera, BenchmarkESG, Makersite, Donesafe, Isometrix, EMEX, SAI, STP, IBM, Enhesa, EcoOnline, FigBytes, Workiva, etc.

Compensation:

Expected Salary (Colorado only): $65,400 - $107,910

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position within the state of Colorado, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
