In this role, you will provide professional sales and marketing-oriented coordination of tours, meetings and events for product groups, customers, dealers and business partners to our North Little Rock, AR plant. The ultimate goal of this position is to deliver world-class tour experiences and communicate the value of Caterpillar products to all visitors.
What You'll Do (Essential Functions)
Provide detailed and customized tour agendas for visitors to include the North Little Rock facilities and a wide range of Caterpillar staff (product groups, subject matter experts, senior leaders, executives, etc.)
Develop a good understanding of the Caterpillar customer / dealer business model, and a general understanding of the mining business and organization
Build strong relationships with facility management, product groups, industry groups and go-to-market teams
Brief visitors on safety protocol and ultimately be accountable for the safety of all visitors, which includes enforcing Caterpillar's safety regulations and OSHA compliance
Maintain, protect and secure Caterpillar assets, including VIP vans, audio equipment, personal protective equipment and related materials
Coordinate lodging, transportation and food recommendations for guests to facility
Provide general marketing support to the team (promotional item management, major events support, industry/community events and content development)
How You'll be Successful (Basic Qualifications)
Associates degree
3+ years of customer facing, communications, marketing, hospitality or project management experience
Excellent customer focused communication skills - written and oral; able to speak comfortably before small and large (50+) size groups
Office 365 experience(Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
Additional Skills for Success (Desired Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or related field
Self-starter with strong attention to organizational and scheduling details and ability to multi-task
Excellent communications, human relations and presentation skills to develop relationships with internal and external contacts
Strong PC skills and Office 365 skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Skype, etc.)
Familiarity with survey tools and event & venue management tools
The ability to maintain confidentiality
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with Caterpillar products and services

This is a part time position located in Little Rock, AR. Flexible hours are provided but expectations will be between 20 and 32 hour per week (M-F).
Onsite work is required when giving tours, but for other work there is flexibility to work from a home office.
