Leidos' Digital Modernization Sector is seeking a Strategy and Execution Manager to support and grow a portfolio of contracts supporting federal agencies. The Strategy and Execution Manager will report to the Portfolio Manager executing a Portfolio of contracts valued at >$50M annually, leading and motivating a talented and diverse team delivering on many programs and projects for customers. You will provide strategic thinking and be responsible for planning, organizing, and driving the team focused on on-contract growth and new opportunities. You will help teams in the organization prioritize opportunities that align to the Digital Modernization and Portfolio capabilities and strategy, conduct customer engagement, and position Leidos for success. This includes developing resource plans, driving proposal efforts including proposal development, pricing activities and management reviews to align to the business budgeting and financial goals. You build and maintain effective relationships with customers and subcontractors and suppliers. With your finance team and Portfolio Manager, you will build effective financial forecasts and meet financial targets. Your teams are responsible for mission critical functions for federal government agencies and must have a broad range of technical and management talent along with a commitment to achieving customer objectives. You and your teams will adopt your customer's mission as your own, and passionately pursue ideas and opportunities to support that mission. You will develop and pursue opportunities to grow your portfolio consistent with the strategic direction you have helped define and set.
This position offers a hybrid work schedule of 70% telecommuting and 30% in office (Reston, VA or customer sites in Washington Metro Area).
What Sets You Apart:
A BA/BS or equivalent experience and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.
4+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects.
Ability to collaborate on formulating strategy and direction in multi-faceted environments.
Ability to communicate a vision, strategy, direction within a framework of integrity and respect.
Ability to quickly synthesize information, understand the environment, and drive to a desired outcome.
Ability to exercise good judgement consistent with corporate governance.
Ability to assess priorities and focus teams on achieving top priorities.
Demonstrated ability to successfully work and communicate with and adapt to personnel at all levels and from technical disciplines (e.g. software developers, test engineers, system engineers), functional support (e.g. HR, finance, contracts) and partners (e.g. suppliers, subcontractors).
Ability to establish reporting mechanisms and program rigor to communicate requirements, policy, and practices.
Demonstrated experience managing organizations in excess of 50 people, and experience managing managers, and working effectively as leader and member of a management team.
Demonstrated experience achieving projecting and achieving financial targets, with revenue above $5M annually, appropriate costs controls and required profitability.
Demonstrated performance management experience, including hiring, firing, rewards and recognition.
Demonstrated experience identifying and pursuing opportunities in the federal contracts market. Experience with the full lifecycle of a pursuit.
U.S. Citizenship or is a lawful permanent resident having been granted the right to live in the United States indefinitely
Ability to be cleared by the US Government via a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI), including compliance with federal tax obligations

Pay Range:
Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00
