The Leidos Digital Modernization Sector has an opening for a Budget & Financial Strategist to support one of our critical programs. The individual in this position will provide support and maintenance of the Government financial investments and reports. Provide guidance and produce reports related to budget and financial activities. Support budget program execution, ensuring alignment with available resources and programmatic goals. Generate budget reports for customer offices, components, and other programs, including funding and activity summary profiles. Assist in developing, reviewing, and responding to budget exercise submission.

Primary Responsibilities:
Assist the customer's PPBE efforts through advising during internal budget formulation and execution, annual budget certification requirements under 10 U.S.C. Section 142, annual Capability Programming Guidance development and publication, and information technology/cyberspace activities budget formulation.
Review and analyze current budget plans and historical data to provide recommendations for improvements.
Develop and implement processes for tracking and managing budget execution.
Conduct regular financial analyses to assess budget performance and identify variances.
Ensure all budget activities comply with relevant regulations and internal policies.
Facilitate effective communication with stakeholders regarding budget status and financial performance.
Support efforts to ensure customer's capabilities align to programmatic and budget guidance.
Serves as a lead on large, complex projects as requested by Leidos or customer.
Provide budget and financial information to Government personnel in a regular basis.
Provide financial reports to support the formulation of the Program, Planning, Budget, and Execution (PPBE) documents.
Analyze and provide financial highlights to the Government including discrepancies with proper justifications.
Review and assess financial reports including fund status, operational plans, and historical information required to determine financial trends.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience Government budget formulation.
BA degree and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2+ years of prior relevant experience.
U.S. Citizenship with an active Top Secret (TS) clearance.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Proven experience with budget analysis and formulation and PPBE processes.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Detail-oriented and excellent time-management skills.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to interact with senior Government leaders, develop and present information/decision briefings.
Solid organization skills and attention to detail.
Experience with federal organization and interacting with senior civilian and military personnel.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00
