CTG is seeking to fill a Maintenance Scheduler opening for our client in Baytown, TX.
Location: Baytown, TX
Duration: 12 months
Note: A TWIC Card is required for this position. Candidates must have the ability to climb stairs and possess sufficient physical strength to perform requirements safely.
Duties:
Schedule all planned maintenance work, ensuring resources are allocated based on availability and operational requirements.
Review SAP backlogs for ready-to-schedule work orders.
Prepare weekly optimized schedules in collaboration with Operations, considering job due dates, workload, and resource availability.
Coordinate schedules for special equipment and tools to enhance working efficiency.
Determine work to be rescheduled with operations to accommodate urgent tasks.
Lead schedule update meetings to prioritize jobs and align resources between maintenance and production.
Monitor backlogs and notify maintenance supervision about capacity needs to maintain optimum backlog levels.
Compile and distribute required schedules to Operations and Maintenance Execution Groups.
Skills:
Proficient in SAP and Prometheus scheduling tool.
Strong plant maintenance knowledge and experience.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience:
Education:
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
