Program Summary
As part of the LOGCAP NORTHCOM scope, KBR provides rapid response support to scheduled and unscheduled U.S. Army training exercises. KBR's LOGCAP team successfully completed another year of support to Warfighter operations by providing typical LOGCAP services at two locations.
Job Summary
As an Operations Manager, you will operate with general autonomy, and hold responsibility for the administrative and operational leadership of LOGCAP. Serving as an Operations Manager, in this role you will be involved in supporting all sites within the combatant command and/or LOGCAP task order and contribute to the startup and planning of future sites.
Roles and Responsibilities
Conduct analyses of operational performance, monitor performance indicators, and stay current on all operational issues affecting task orders.
Coordinate with the Program Management Office (PMO) for information and reports.
Support and assist Task Order Management in the performance of their responsibilities.
Ensure the PMO receives timely, accurate, and relevant information related to the task order.
Report directly to the Task Order Manager or their designee.
Lead, develop, and mentor a team of supervisors and staff across the combatant command and task orders.
Oversee and manage operational projects from initiation to completion.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
Allocate resources effectively and optimally, including personnel, equipment, and all related materials.
Develop Basis of Estimates (BOE's).
Develop and manage operational budgets for task orders.
Oversee and coordinate all operations functions within the combatant command and/or LOGCAP task order.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.
Ensure compliance with company safety policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
Conduct regular audits and inspections when deployed to task orders.
Remain cognizant of all facets of base life support, maintenance, and logistics operations.
Organize and oversee the activities of both standing and ad hoc teams and working groups.
Perform a wide range of coordination activities in support of the PMO and Task Order Manager.
Attend and document meeting minutes for distribution through SharePoint After Action Report (AAR)/Memorandum for Record (MFR) platform.
Team and coordinate with stakeholders at all levels (internal and external) in order to lead team members towards common goals.
Foster a positive and productive work environment.
In this role you can expect to be deployed and travel at least 50% of the time to CONUS locations. Travel to OCONUS locations will also be required, with prior coordination.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
Must be able to pass a U.S. Government background investigation and obtain a NACI. Due to this, you must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Green Card holder who has lived within the United States for at least the last 3 years to be eligible for this position.
Must have a Bachelor's Degree and at least 3 years of directly related experience. A High School Diploma and an additional 5 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Must have at least 3 years of overseas deployment experience on a LOGCAP assignment specifically in an operations management role.
Requires at least 2 years of experience as a Supervisor or Manager of personnel.
Must have at least 1 year of experience as a Senior Operations Coordinator or equivalent Military experience.
Requires familiarity with the development of Basis of Estimates (BOE).
Requires experience developing and managing operational budgets for task orders.
Must possess strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
Requires experience using Maximo.
Must have extensive working knowledge with the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams), and be capable of learning and applying additional software applications.
Must be proficient with the Program Management Office (PMO) Operations Desktop Operating Procedures (DOP) to include but not limited to: Employee Messages, Incident Reporting Requirements, Crisis Management Action Team, Situation Report, Aircraft Accident/Incident Emergency Response Plan, and Master Schedule of Work.
Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Requires experience with short notice, quick set-up missions that may be of short duration.
Requires experience with planning contingency operations for natural disasters and recovery operations.
Must possess general understanding of LOGCAP concept of operations to include Performance Work Statement (PWS) and associate technical exhibits.
Requires a valid Driver's License.
Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.
Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
Experience working with and developing Power BI Dashboards.
Knowledge of the Appian system.
Pay
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Basic Compensation: $115,800 - $173,700
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
