Job Description

HII - Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Network Administrator to work in Fort Meade, MD in support of a multi-national developed capability that connects respective existing national Secret networks and services to deliver improved information sharing capabilities between Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Essential Job Responsibilities

- Responsible for information systems design, development, and analysis encompassing one or more of the following areas of technical expertise and related disciplines:

- programming - PC application analysis - software development - systems integration, and related disciplines.

- Plans, estimates, defines and documents the requirements for systems, equipment, and software configurations.

- Responsible for the installation, checkout, and maintenance of information technology and other systems involvement in other system-level duties; documents installation and issues related thereto:

- Install, checkout, test, troubleshoot, and operate hardware, software, wiring, and systems.

- Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, switches, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.

- Evaluate and report on new network technologies to enhance the capabilities of the network.

Minimum Qualifications

9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.

- Applicable common System Engineering certification(s) such as, but not limited to MSCE, CSEP, CCNA, CISSP

- Must have an Active Secret Security Clearance

- US Citizen

Preferred Requirements

- Experience working with ServiceNow

- Experience working in or for the military

- Expertise in Multi-national Combatant Command-level military exercises, coalition networking in support of military operations, and/or Mission Partner Environments, such as Pegasus.

- Experience or interest in materials, material applications, defense systems, and/or supply chains.

- Knowledge of engineering principles, methods, and techniques.

- Effective data analysis and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.

- Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Agile/Scrum Familiarity with Agile, Kanban, Scrum, how Scrum is done, standard Scrum/Agile.
