Overview

Audacy, Inc. is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their Corporate Financial Operations Team.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements to be filed with the SEC

  • Provide support in the areas of fixed assets, lease accounting, treasury, and general accruals

  • Prepare monthly close journal entries

  • Complete monthly reconciliations balance sheet accounts

  • Work with external auditors, provide support documentations and explanations

  • Compile, adjust and evaluate various accruals to ensure their accuracy

  • Research new accounting pronouncements and their impact on the Company

  • Properly execute controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley

Software to be used:

  • Microsoft Excel (Especially Excel)

  • Microsoft Dynamics SL (Solomon) - General Ledger

  • Tagetik - Consolidation of financial reporting

  • Wdesk - Financial reporting

Qualifications

About You:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Understanding and knowledge of US GAAP

  • 3 or more years of accounting or finance experience

  • Experience interfacing with internal/external customers

  • Experience in the financial reporting close process

  • Ability to multi-task and handle shifting priorities

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical and computer skills (Microsoft Excel is a must)

  • Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relations

  • Self-starter and strong work ethic

  • Key skills/attributes: organization, attention to detail, problem-solving and accountability
