Job Description

Duties : Research, collate and synthesize user needs to help conceive, define, test and evolve solutions for our users across a range of mediums and experiences. Lead design on a team of product managers and developers to solve big, complex problems from concept to delivery in an Agile environment. Advocate for users and deliver outcomes in a dynamic work environment. Advocate, mentor, and educate on the benefits of design thinking to product teams and new designers alike. Help identify new opportunities to solve valuable customer problems. Craft user-centered artifacts to align teams around the broader user experience. Design and facilitate co-creation design workshops. Present work, concepts, and new ideas to cross-functional team members, adjacent teams, and senior leadership.

Requirements : Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Product Design, Information, Human Computer Interaction, or a related technical/quantitative field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related position. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Product Design, Information, Human-Computer Interaction or a related technical/quantitative field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related position.

Employer requires at least six (6) of the following skills gained through industry experience:

  • Visualization to visualize complex service architecture data into easy to consume information for the customer;

  • Mobile-First Design;

  • Bootstrap Grid and other responsive design layout libraries to successfully deliver the same experience surface agnostic across the globe on various surfaces;

  • Designing Dashboards for customer information consumption and validating the design choices through user testing;

  • Designing, using and managing pattern libraries to establish interaction design patterns, organize complex data, manage information hierarchy and build user flows;

  • Agile Development Process;

  • User Research to design and conduct qualitative and quantitative research studies using methods like moderated remote usability studies, click stream analysis, user walkthroughs, A/B testing, etc.;

  • Developing and investigating end-to-end journeys and experiences from a user perspective, showcasing it to stakeholders via storytelling and translating it into actionable recommendations to drive product strategy.
