KAHUT, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a safety conscious Container Delivery Driver to join our team in Canby, OR! This position requires having a clean driving record and a Valid Driver's License.
The schedule for this position will be Monday-Friday 5:30am to 2:30pm Occasional Saturdays and Overtime as need be. Hourly Wage will be $18.41/HR, we are also offering a $2,000 Stay On Bonus!
Responsibilities include:
Safely operates Delivery Flat Bed truck to deliver and pick up containers for Customers.
Ability to read route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher.
Perform daily pre and post trip inspections on vehicle.
Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift/load Containers to and from delivery Truck.
Assemble and repair plastic recycling containers.
Ability to effectively communicate and understand needed repairs and/or tasks to Assemble or Repair Containers.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 75 pounds. Moderate noise level.
Work environment involves some exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts. Which require following basic safety precautions.
Exposure to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to lift at least 75lbs
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
Valid Driver's License required
Clean Motor Vehicle driving Report
Ability to Pass a Background Check
