Global Finance Services Division Caterpillar's Global Finance Services Division (GFSD)
GFSD has enterprise responsibility to provide fiduciary responsibility, reporting and regulatory compliance through a variety of disciplines including tax, treasury, strategy, audit, investor relations and indirect procurement. With roughly 6,000 employees located across the globe, GSFD ensures their customers and business partners are provided with quality insights, analysis and services, as well as strong extended enterprise relationships, while providing deep expertise as trusted partners to the businesses we serve.
The Opportunity
The Global Finance Services Division (GFSD) has an exciting opportunity available for a Director of Human Resources role based in Dallas, TX. Reporting in to the Senior Vice President of GFSD and overseeing a team of roughly 35, this HR Leader will be responsible for leading, guiding, counseling, overseeing, and supporting all critical and strategic human resource needs and initiatives for the organization which includes Indirect Procurement, Accounting, Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis/Services, Group CFO teams, Tax, Treasury, Strategy, Auditing and Investor Relations organizations acting as an integral business partner and advisor.
This position also provides leadership and supports execution of Business Unit level HR, including performance management and business unit HR metrics. This individual will be responsible for overseeing and driving the business strategy of GFSD through supportive HR leadership and services with a customer focused mindset. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to become a trusted business partner for leaders, bringing a passion for talent and strategic thinking while delivering practical, results orientated solutions
Skills and Experience for the Role:
15+ years of relevant human resources experience in a large global and highly matrixed company.
Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred.
Develop strategic organizational and talent initiatives that drive culture and engagement throughout the division.
Ability to establish and drive standardized operating procedures and processes across the division.
Experience developing strategic organizations and talent initiatives that drive culture and engagement throughout the organization. With a key focus on talent management, development and succession planning.
Demonstrated experience in compliance.
The ability to build organizational capability through leader and employee development.
Influence and coach executives at the VP and SVP levels.
Strong business and financial acumen.
