What you'll do here: The Associate Sales Enablement Specialist role resides in the Go-to-Market Technology and Operations organization and is responsible for providing support during the sales process by assisting with daily tasks that drive revenue and operational efficiency. This position will directly support inside and field sales representatives with managing their business and closing opportunities. The Associate Sales Enablement Specialist role requires a high attention to detail, the ability to change focus and priorities quickly and effectively, computer software knowledge including Salesforce, and a customer (internal and external) service approach to work. What you'll do here: + Work Marketing Qualified Leads daily. + Assist sales team with assigned internal requests and support the daily operations needed to generate sales. + Investigate sales related issues and resolve or escalate as needed. + Gain proficiency with internal tools such as Salesforce, Tableau, and custom-built systems for managing sales communication and reporting. + Provide first line and second line support to strategic partners by answering questions and addressing issues in a timely and professional manner. + Participate in special projects to improve processes, tools, systems and organization; + Take ownership of personal learning and development and for setting achievable and meaningful work objectives + Demonstrate commitment to Cengage's values/ethos, including performing to an exceptionally high ethical standard and focus on integrity, collaboration and teamwork in all efforts. Skills you will need here: + Ability to be flexible and adaptable in the face of changing organizational priorities and ambiguous environments. + Demonstrated strong problem solving, analytical skills, and critical thinking. + Recent, relevant experience in sales, sales support, or fast-paced customer service role preferred. + Strong organizational skills. + Acute attention to detail. + Ability to work with and support multiple people effectively. + Solid understanding of CRM systems/software (such as Salesforce) preferred. + Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
