Bonaventure is seeking a dynamic and success driven architect who has design and project management experience. As an architect and project lead you have a proficient level of technical expertise in a solutions based design medium and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Bonaventure Design team works collaboratively and you will successfully conduct coordination efforts with the internal team along with consulting partners. What You'll Do:

  • Lead the design/production team through all phases of design: SD, DD, CD and coordination with our internal CA team to meet project goals, milestones, and schedules.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction documentation and technical detailing required.

  • Evaluation and recommend design solutions throughout the design process.

  • Understanding of research code reviews and regulatory approval process. Comprehensive knowledge of building code and accessibility guidelines, IBC, ANSI, and experience with municipality zoning and permitting requirements. House Urban Development guidelines are a plus.

  • Thorough understanding of cost budgeting and responding to construction related issues in a timely manner. Candidate will be expected to work directly with our vertically integrated team in all aspects of the project: Investments, Legal, CA, Estimating, Construction, and Operations.

  • Knowledge in large site development and the ability to work closely with external civil engineering consultants.

  • Mentors and collaborates with associate architects and production staff by providing knowledge-based guidance.

  • Participates in the conceptual design and provides full support through the entire project

    Who You Are :

  • Qualified candidate to have a Bachelor's in Architecture/Master of Architecture from an accredited program.

  • Architecture License

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience working on large scale projects is required. Experience in Multi-family is a plus.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office.
