Overview
Frontier Technology Inc. is looking for a highly experienced DevOps Engineer to support the Technology group using Azure DevOps tools. This role go es beyond th e usual responsibilities of automating software deployment processes and maintaining multiple environments . We are also looking for someone passionate about developing a team-wi d e culture of rigorous test-driven software development, following current best practices .
Responsibilities
Automate software deployment processes by releasing incremental updates and developing automation tools.
Improve communication and collaboration to enable rapid product development by serving as the liaison between the Technology development and IT Operations teams.
Create more stable operating environments by continuously improving the infrastructure to be easily deployable and scalable.
Maintain advanced knowledge of agile methodology, development processes, and programming languages.
Advocate and train others in software devops best practices .
Creation, deployment, and maintenance of build agents to both Windows and Linux VMs
Education/Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Advanced higher education certification or degree in engineering, IT, or related is a plus.
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
6+ years of experience in devops engineering and advanced knowledge of the Azure DevOps environment
Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
Understanding of git and accompanied branching strategies ( GitFlow , GitHub Flow) and policies
Understanding of pipeline architecture and yaml
