Caterpillar's Global Construction and Infrastructure division is hiring an Account Manager focused on Machine Technologies for Quarry & Aggregate as well as Waste Industries!

In this role, you will be the single Caterpillar point of contact for multiple corporate accounts in Quarry & Aggregate and Waste management. You will be responsible to address critical product technology related issues and services and support strategy, representing the voice of the customer in new product introduction activities and marketing campaigns as well as prioritizing and maintaining awareness of Customer product problems, creating action plans to address issues and their commercial impact.

Role Summary: Manage Technology adaptation with our customers and serve as point of contact for all technology offerings covering Corporate and Global accounts for the Americas and working closely with our internal EAME team and other partners (i.e. Cat Digital, Autonomy and Automation, etc.).

What You'll Do:

  • Provide direct technical support, perform jobsite visits and work closely with Account managers, peers and dealers to develop and grow Technology products and services sales.

  • Regularly engage with the Technology product group, engineering and factory operations and management.

  • Design processes for informing customer of rates, shipping date, anticipated delays and any additionalinformation needed by the customer.

  • Work directly with customers to collect information and ensure customers' needs are met.

What You Have (Skills & Abilities)

  • Industry Experience: Progressively responsible job-related experience in the Technology products, Quarry & Aggregate or Waste Industry including dealer or customer facing roles.

  • Customer Focus and Relationship Management - Extensive experience: In order to deliver on commitments, open communication and on-going feedback/improvement and ability to advise others on creating customer focused environments in various scenarios.

  • Value Selling and Influencing - Extensive experience: Ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs and to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner in order to drive execution.

  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Ability to articulate decisions based on numerous and often complex data sourced by multiple systems and partners. You must be able to set priorities and work independently in establishing workplans to effectively achieve desired results.

  • Account Management: Ability to coordinate resources and orchestrate activities for a specific account to provideservices and support to existing clients.

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

  • Previous Technology Sales or Account management within the Waste/Quarry & Aggregate Industry

  • understanding of Rebuild process and commercial impact to growth initiatives

  • Project management or 6 Sigma experience

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • The role requires the ability to travel up to 50% within the US
