ITW Food Equipment Group, an Illinois Tool Works Fortune 200 business is a recognized leader among commercial food equipment worldwide. The function of this position is to provide maintenance support to the Troy, Ohio facilities by providing preventive and predictive maintenance as well as repairs and installation of all utilities and structural/architectural components of commercial and industrial buildings.

  • Preventive maintenance and repair of electrical/mechanical systems and components related to commercial buildings and grounds using modern industry standards and best practices

  • Interpret electrical, mechanical and structural drawings and schematics

  • Working knowledge of computer applications routinely used in an office environment

  • Working knowledge of commercial plumbing and piping best practices

  • Working knowledge of commercial building trades such as carpentry, masonry, painting, etc.

  • Interpret and apply all proper safety procedures

  • Perform various tasks and or duties as may be assigned by supervision

  • Interpret National Electrical Codes

  • Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and will have contact with other employees, contractors/vendors, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED or Vocational School

  • 1 year of construction and building maintenance or relevant experience

  • Electrical installation, diagnostics, and repair

  • Valid Driver's License

  • Experience driving a forklift

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Vocational, Technical, Journeyman, or other skilled trades training

  • Knowledge in the following:

  • Electrical

  • Plumbing

  • Carpentry

  • HVAC

  • Masonry

  • Welding

  • DDC Climate and Energy Management Systems
