The Role: A Business Systems Specialist serves as a liaison between IT and the business systems users to work on key improvement processes that lead to the betterment of customer experience. Main responsibilities gravitate around analyzing new and existing technologies by conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis on key procedures as well as supporting the business providing performance metrics and highlighting potential risks.
Essential Duties/Principal responsibilities:
Translate business requirements and product vision into application definition.
Manage application change management requests ensuring efficient coordination of production installs and project initiatives.
Create test data and templates for QA testing; also work with IT programmers to test complete work
Involve in projects for interconnecting different systems.
Work with vendors to get data into and out of our utilized systems.
Provide recommendations for process improvements to improve performance of the business teams with the objective of improving customer experience.
Instruct end users new technology and enhancements using all appropriate communication tools as well as providing support for existing system procedures.
Develop and execute user training and communication.
Lead or participate in special projects to support the growth of the business.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and any other appropriate data analysis tools.
Provide support to the leadership team as needed.
Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities
Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:
Bachelor's Degree, preferred in Business, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related
2-4 years of related work experience in Customer Service or Sales Operations fields
Proficiency in business process reviews
Experience with CRM, ERP and BI tools
Project management experience is a plus

Further, the Company determines this role may be performed in or from Colorado, the salary range is $70,000 to $80,000 plus bonus. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors such as location, qualifications, certifications, relevant work experience and other factors, consistent with applicable law. We offer a generous benefit package, including Medical, Dental, Vision plans, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement.
