Safe Step is currently seeking the right individual to fill our Inventory Control Specialist - Logistics position . In this role, you will be responsible for the following, including, but not limited to; coordinate and supervise inventory control functions of all outgoing/incoming products performed by our 3PL warehouse, coordinating all functions relating to the pickup and delivery of all outgoing/incoming shipments, and Be responsible fo the entire RMA process from initiation to resolution, including logging, tracking, and closing RMAs.
This is a remote role that will support the Atlanta, GA Region . Our ideal candidate must be in EST time zone, preferably within easy commuting distance of locations in Atlanta, GA
Responsibilities:
Ensures adequate inventory of materials and products according to organizational protocols.
Provide analytics and reporting to support decision making in key processes across the Supply Chain group, from the ordering, tracking, and receiving of products at our 3PL Distribution Center.
Trouble shoot inventory or logistical issues for products moving across our supply chain.
Coordinate and work with our Logistics team to arrange logistics services to move our products from our vendors to our 3PL DC and to our remote holding locations.
Reconcile weekly cycle count reports
Work with team members to ensuring products move quickly and correctly through the RMA process. Enter RA requests for returns into our inventory management system.
Create and process Return Material Authorizations (RMA) into ERP and maintain accurate records including reasons for returns and documentation.
Coordinate with internal departments including Installation and transportation to facilitate return process, ensuring all products are captured on RMA.
Supervise and track returns with the distribution center to troubleshoot and resolve issues with customer returns in an efficient and timely manner.
Plan and implement a recoup program to ensure all damaged/defective products are accounted for and properly handled by either set for disposal, salvaging, or returning to stock.
Assist more senior associates in a range of activities associated with Operations. This may include investigating canceled jobs for return authorization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Assist in developing and maintaining SOP of inventory control procedures.
Performs all work in accordance with established safety standards and adheres to all safety policies, rules, regulations, and procedures.
Participates in associate meetings and communicates any concerns to management.
Works closely with Management on inventory related projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field or the equivalent in work experience.
3+ years of direct experience in inventory control and product returns management in a distribution environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, OUTLOOK- Advanced Excel skills required. (experience with pivot tables and VLook ups is a must)
Understanding of warehouse receiving and shipping processes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in using inventory management and tracking systems.
Ability to follow detailed processes and procedures accurately.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must have a positive attitude, with a focus on teamwork and rapid problem resolution

$3,600.00 - $7,791.30

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
