What you'll do here:

The Content Manager is responsible for the timely and cost-effective development of high-quality educational content for use in print and digital products. The person in this role will help develop and document innovative, efficient content creation processes; facilitate content creation by authors, vendors, and subject matter experts; ensure all content is thoroughly reviewed and revised; and deliver final content to functional groups and vendor partners.

  • Facilitates the creation and delivery of high-quality print and digital content

  • Creates and maintains schedules and budgets

  • Hires external contributors and manages their work through all phases of content development

  • Helps ensure products adhere to ADA-compliance standards

  • Helps resolve bugs and customer-identified content issues

Skills you will need here:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent computer skills, including familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and online editing tools

  • Consultative, cooperative, solutions-oriented, and service-minded perspective

  • Strong project management and organizational skills; the ability to successfully drive multiple projects and prioritize multiple tasks

  • Ability to embrace, assimilate, and implement new processes, procedures, and standards in an environment of continuous improvement and change

  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively and efficiently in a team environment

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with content formats (HTML, XML) and product platforms

  • Database experience

  • Knowledge of ADA compliance
