In this role, you will enable the Global Account Management team through data and business perspective to effectively monitor and manage our relationship with worldwide accounts.
Job Duties:
Customer Analytics:
Leverage Cat Connect and other data sources to understand and predict customer behaviors & needs
Use data analytic tools for Opportunity Identification (ex. understanding customer utilization and application metrics to determine opportunity for our products to serve Lifecycle Value applications)
Request For Proposal (RFP):
Works across Caterpillar and our Dealers to assemble and deliver accurate and competitive commercial and product support offerings, whether for Fleet Capacity Agreements (as they expand worldwide), or for site-specific RFP's
Understand competitive environment to assess and recommend our commercial response for machine, parts, warranty and service offerings.
Assist Integrated Account Managers to drive consistent dealer quoting and content to include rationalizing machine configurations and quote review
Harness enterprise resources/teams as needed to deliver a cohesive and effective RFP response
Customer Agreement Administration:
Own the administration of the customer agreements for Global Accounts worldwide
Coordinate agreement reviews with Cat Legal, when necessary
Oversee agreement claims processing, working with the Global Machine Pricing team
Conduct sales forecasting and machine order support
Track & Report Results:
Capture Machine and Parts sales data for all IAM activity, worldwide
Leverage pricing resources to monitor and report Machine Sales Variance usage to support business
Work with Global Aftermarket, Marketing & Brand to capture Parts Sales data
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
5+ years of commercial, sales, pricing or analytics experience
Proficiency in Microsoft suite, including analytics tools (Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Power BI)
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
Experience designing pricing structures in a complex or highly regulated environment, developing pricing strategy, and performing financial analysis
Strong analytical skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to take large data sets and translate to key takeaways concisely
Knowledge of Caterpillar machines, application and work tool products and related services
Additional Details:
This role is located in Peoria, IL
Primary interfaces include the Global Accounts team, GCI leadership team, Product Groups, Global Sales Operations and Dealer Sales & Product Support teams
