Position Description
Serco is seeking a recent college graduate to support our team of proposal coordinators. You must be able to work well with others and have a willingness to learn. You must also be an excellent communicator in written and oral forms.
The Proposal Center is a centralized function that supports Serco's business groups that include Defense Services, Citizen Services, Serco-WBB, and Maritime Engineering/Sustainment. Our Proposal Management team provides full support during the proposal development lifecycle while ensuring compliance and contributing to a higher win rate.
You will be a member of our Proposal Management team reporting to the Director - Proposal Management. Your team works in coordination with the Proposal Solutions and Support team and Capture team to provide full proposal management services to our stakeholders. You will be responsible for direct supervision/management of the proposal team and manage all activities involved in the development and revision of proposals. You will lead proposal reviews with management and apply your extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
In this role, you will:
Request the proposal team site and serve as one of the site owners
Assist the Proposal Manager or establish the electronic file structure and procedures for proposal materials on the team site
Establish and document electronic proposal file access and tracking protocols for ensuring the security and integrity of all proposal documentation
Assists with creating compliance matrices, proposal outline/content plans, and work breakdown structures
Perform wall management of the content plans and sections and control access to the proposal area and sensitive or proprietary materials
Create and manage a graphics log and maintain real-time development status of all proposal text and graphics
Build and maintain and manage, when necessary, the proposal schedule and activities for smaller pursuit led by the Business Units
Develop a plan for the Red Team and final production cycles and resources required
Coordinate the internal flow and review of all proposal inputs and outputs
Supervise the daily operations of Graphic Specialists, Desktop Publishers, Editors, and Reproduction personnel regarding assigned pursuits
Assist the Proposal Manager in developing the Red Team evaluation package and in recording, disseminating, and tracking suggested Red Team changes
Direct the production, reproduction, and binding/packaging of Red Team proposal, final master proposal, and all hard/soft copies
Assist in the securing/disposing of all proposal assets and resources and sanitizing the proposal facility upon delivery of the proposal
Other reasonable and normal duties associated with the Proposal Coordinator position
Establish the conference call for daily tag-ups, take roll call, and manage the action item register
Manage data calls
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability and comfortability to work in fast pace, dynamic environment.
