Responsibilities
Job Summary
The Organizational Development Specialist is responsible for assessing and recommending organizational improvements. This role partners with cross-functional teams, Centers of Excellence and key business stakeholders to identify opportunities to positively impact the company's key business strategies, goals and metrics by evaluating organizational structures, operations, resources, and processes. This position recommends appropriate process improvements and applies change management principles to optimize the organization's performance.
Essential Functions
Recommends organizational improvements through research and analysis of organizational communication systems, processes, procedures, structures and utilization of resources.
Works cross-functionally to facilitate organizational development and change.
Analyzes key People metrics, including business metrics that correlate where appropriate, to recommend talent-related organizational solutions using a systems theory approach, considering selection, onboarding, training and development.
Identifies data collection tools, data sources, benchmarks, and performance targets to best meet business needs.
Assists in the development and implementation of talent initiatives, programs, and other solutions to meet and anticipate organizational needs.
Measures the effectiveness of talent initiatives, programs, and other solutions by creating and utilizing relevant listening systems and other data.
Assists with business optimization initiatives as part of a cross-functional team.
Maintains an in-depth knowledge of best practices in all areas of talent management and organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or other related field required. Master's Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or other related field preferred.
Minimum three years' experience in talent management/ organizational development
Additional years of education may be substituted for the required experience or vice versa on a year-for- year basis.
Uses strong analytic skills and an in-depth understanding of the organization and the business in order to handle arising problems and issues.
Solves diverse problems using solid analytical skills where limited precedents/guidelines exist.
Working knowledge of talent management disciplines, including organizational design, succession planning, performance management, change management, and team effectiveness.
