You will serve as an individual contributor on complex and exciting projects in development of Electrification & Advanced Power System . You will be responsible for validation and certification testing of electrification & sustainability related products like batteries, inverters, chargers, fuel cells and hybrid energy storage systems.
You will also support projects that involve understanding of testing needs, developing efficient and automated test processes to collect, organize and analyze data which will ultimately be used in making product design and performance decisions.
Job Duties/Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Follow, advocate safe build/set-up/test procedures & collaborate to identify and mitigate gaps
Review test plans/FMEA controls and write test instructions
Work closely with Execute test instructions and monitor testing
Responsible for data collection, data quality checks & data formatting
Collaborate with global engineering team with data sharing & analysis
Evaluate test results against success criteria and report out to senior engineers/technical leaders
Responsible for meeting lab test plan dates
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited 4 year college/university with a graduation date between December 2021 to December 2022 .
Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0
Solid understanding of DC and AC theory as applies to inverters, rectifiers, transformers, and power supplies
Academic coursework with focus on power electronics, Energy storage systems, fuel cell or batteries
Understanding and setup experience with devices like Oscilloscope and CAN networks is a plus
Knowledge to develop electrical single line diagrams and familiarity with MATLAB and excel scripting
Desire for career development in area of electrification product testing and development
Strong communication skills - Oral and written complemented by create presentation/reports

Travel up to 5% is possible with this role.
