Essential Functions:

  • Develop training documents and work instructions on critical assemblies.

  • Develop drawing documentation process for more efficient assembly process.

  • Determine where fixtures are needed and prioritize for development and purchase.

  • May design fixtures or work with engineering group to develop.

  • Determine where testing and QA is inadequate for future problem avoidance.

  • Initiate development of testing process changes and proactive development of testing criteria for new options.

  • Lead process flow and material flow teams to improve assembly efficiency.

  • Maintain operation codes for new released options. Control the release of new opcodes to maintain a level of continuity

  • Review assembly problems with production to determine root cause and lead corrective actions.

  • Develop training program for assembly, new options or re-occurring issues

  • Work with maintenance to determine future building improvement projects list and feasibility of the changes. Research options and present requested directions.

  • Review assembly rates and determine new standards for all machine product lines.

Education/Experience Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
