Job duties:
Assist the Maintenance Manager with general clerical work, data entry and parts inventory.
Answer vendor phone calls and assist with ordering as needed.
Actively work with vendors, mechanics and management as needed.
Perform work daily on specialized maintenance software, including the initial setup of the software.
Complete special projects as assigned by the Maintenance Manager, and all other duties as assigned.
Reviews the mechanic's daily work orders for service's performed and parts that were used
Inventory purchasing, tracking and distribution
Maintain parts room in accordance with Company policy
Some heavy lifting over 50 lbs may be required
All repair order data entry into company maintenance tracking program
Requirements include :
Excellent organization and communication skills
Must be detailed oriented with a high degree of accuracy
Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while prioritizing workload
Automotive/Heavy Duty parts experience a plus
Basic office clerical experience including Microsoft Word and Excel
Inventory management preferred
Parts or supply purchasing preferred
Valid Driver's license and be able to drive a company truck to pick up parts
