Position Description
Serco is seeking an experienced Pricing/Price to Win (PTW) professional who will work independently to develop and deliver Serco price target recommendations. The Serco PTW Team typically supports strategic opportunities valued at more than $50M. PTW Team members develop and deliver their own analysis and recommendations to capture teams and executive-level leaders and are expected to adhere to agreed-upon deadlines. The position involves collecting data and using a wide variety of techniques and tools to project likely competitor pricing, likely competitor non cost scoring relative to Serco and customer evaluation outcomes. The successful candidate will demonstrate ability to develop detailed knowledge of customer buying patterns, competitor bid tendencies, and assess competitor technical/business strategies and capabilities and the resulting impact on pricing.
The Serco PTW Team is part of Serco's Growth Organization, responsible for providing the line organizations business development, capture, proposal, competitive intelligence and PTW support services.
In this role you will:
Work on multiple types of opportunities (services, production/integration, CONUS/OCONUS) and contract types (CPXF, FFP, T&M)
Work on analysis techniques including bottom-up price projections, top-down analysis, and parametric estimating
Craft and deliver clear, concise, and impactful presentations for executive-level leadership that provide actionable intelligence and recommendations
Participate in pricing strategy development
Working proposal efforts for both Department of Defense and Federal Civilian Agency opportunities
Qualifications
To Be Successful in this role you will have:
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in a Pricing and/or PTW role
Experience working on multiple types of opportunities (services, production/integration, CONUS/OCONUS) and contract types (CPXF, FFP, T&M)
Experience with multiple PTW analysis techniques including bottom-up price projections, top-down analysis, and parametric estimating
Combination of technical and business experience that enables the candidate to project competitor solutions and associated pricing for complex opportunities
Ability to craft and deliver clear, concise, and impactful presentations for executive-level leadership that provide actionable intelligence and recommendations
Ability to work independently with limited oversight
Ability to manage multiple assignments and work them simultaneously
Participation in pricing strategy development
Desired Qualifications :
Ability to support proposal teams that are geographically dispersed
Experience working proposal efforts for both Department of Defense and Federal Civilian Agency opportunities
Familiarity with Serco's competitors, customers, and services
Experience using market research and spending reporting tools including, but not limited to Bloomberg Government, GovWin, FPDS.gov
Experience participating and/or leading Black Hat sessions
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
Experience using data analytics tools (Python/R) and statistical techniques to develop pricing range projections and simulate possible customer evaluation outcomes
