Position Summary:
The Purchasing/Outsource Coordinator - Deltar Fasteners reports to the Outsource Supervisor - Deltar Fasteners. The major areas of responsibility are: Coordinating vendor related activity to ensure on-time delivery of product to customer; Daily schedule investigation and communication distribution through associated personnel and software; Creating and managing purchase orders, monitoring shipments to meet customer requirements, completing receipt process and maintaining purchase records; Perform and support inventory management.
Position is located in Chippewa Falls, WI.
Primary Responsibilities:
Proactive daily communication with vendors to ensure on-time delivery of product and problem resolution
Prepares, reviews and tracks purchase orders versus customer demand fluctuations
Receive and label purchased products
Develop and maintain good working relationships with both internal and external customers
Collaborate with various internal departments as needed
Utilization of various reports to manage customer requirements
Maintain accurate vendor data through scoring system and tier profiles
Knowledge and understanding of internal ERP system to sufficiently complete required tasks
Reconciliation of discrepancies with manufacturing cells and vendors
Coordinate expedite molding, assembly, & shipment as required to meet customer demands
Monitor and support correct inventory at vendors and maintain vendor produced finished goods inventory
Other tasks and duties as assigned
Position Skills and Experience Requirements:

2 year Administrative/Manufacturing degree or equivalent education and/or experience
Minimum 1-3 years in customer service/sales/logistics, related to a manufacturing environment or related field
Requires a detail-oriented person with proven organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written
Experience, plus working knowledge of customer relations, general computer operations, and coordinating of multiple tasks
Excellent Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills
Strong work ethic, reliable, able to work independently and in a team environment and self-motivated
Ability to function independently, exercising independent judgment and decision making within his/her level of authority
Ability to read and interpret complicated drawings along with use of caliper
Flexibility and willingness to change daily responsibilities
