Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Electrical Inspector to join our team! In this role you will get to join our growing construction management and inspection team in South Florida inspecting the construction of water and sewer facilities .

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Receive general supervision from the Construction Manager.

  • Conduct daily site visits at the construction site

  • Field measure quantities installed and perform supporting standard mathematical calculations.

  • Understand and interpret client's contracts and comprehend construction documents

  • Enter daily reports into Proliance, e-Builder or other construction reporting software

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Perform difficult and sometimes complex inspection tasks.

  • Inspect various facets of work on the jobsite and performs continuous surveillance of assigned inspection activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and specifications.

  • Document nonconformance and may participate in determining appropriate resolution.

  • Inspection activities usually concentrated in utilities, electrical and mechanical.

  • Must be able to read and interpret plans and specifications and be thoroughly familiar with construction-related processes related to the area of assignment. Ability to comply with multitude of requirements as applicable to the project based on client and industry standards.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Proficiency with basic computer usage, Microsoft Office, Project Management Software and e-Builder.

  • Knowledge of English grammar and composition, the ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing; to follow oral and written instructions, prepare written messages and simple charts and graphs.

  • Good verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

  • Foreign language skills (Spanish) a plus.

Salary Range:

$33.89 - $59.33
