Summary The selectee for this position will serve as a Fuel Distribution System Worker in the Regional Fuel Department ofNAVSUP FLC PEARL HARBOR Responsibilities You will operate various complex work stations to receive fuel and cryogenic products by tanker truck or pipeline at a fuel distribution work system. You will operate the hydrant system, open and close valves, start and stop pumps, and record amounts transferred. You will read meters, take samples, temperature, water cuts, and gross liquid gauges. You will issue aviation/ground fuel and cryogenics from a fuel distribution facility work station to tanks, refueling units, aircraft, or tank trucks. You will adhere to safety practices, procedures, regulations, and maintain a safe and clean work environment. The Screen-out Element for this position is: have experience performing the majority of the following duties of a Fuel System Distribution (FDS) Worker including: receiving, storing, transferring, dispensing fuels and cryogenic products; operating one or more specialized work stations; operating pumps and accessory equipment to load, unload and transfer fuels; performing operator maintenance and minor repair of FDS equipment; motoring the operation of gauges and meters; documenting the receipt and issuance of fuel; operating vehicles with a GVW of over 32,000 lbs.; issuing aviation/ground fuel and cryogenics from a fuel distribution workstation to tanks, refueling units, aircraft or tank trucks; complying with established regulations for handling fuel and cryogenic products; complying with laws and regulations to handle Hazardous Material (HAZMAT).
