The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add an experienced, motivated Full-Time Hospitality Manager to our Cura Hospitality team in Wernersville, PA. As a Hospitality Manager for Cura Hospitality, you will work in collaboration with the Executive Chef, and is responsible for the overall management and oversight of dining services strategies, initiatives and daily culinary activities. The Hospitality Manager will develop, communicate, and execute hospitality training efforts, measurement of the guest experience and initiatives that enhance team culture and dining experience. This position will work closely to support various community teams.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supports dining services with strategies to drive hospitality excellence.

  • Responsible for all front of the house operations and guest experiences. Including appearance of dining venues, training of staff, customer service, communications.

  • Point person for all catered events. Directing events from beginning to end including planning, communication, and execution; assuring interdepartmental collaboration.

  • Analyzes point of sale data and develops action plans based on facts to improve quality service.

  • Manages the pre meal experience with Ex Chef and service staff.

  • Provides regular hospitality training to font of the house team members.

  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with community residents.

  • Identifies improvement opportunities by staying current on food and beverage trends

  • Provides memorable experiences to residents and their guests

  • Build an inviting dining program where every day is extraordinary.

  • Creates an atmosphere where residents feel a sense of belonging and friendship and where incredible service is the expectation, not the exception.

  • Responsibly manage and supervise all culinary front of the house staff including scheduling, assignment, direction, performance review and corrective action.

  • Interview, hire, and train staff for culinary front of the house positions.

  • In partnership with the Executive Chef, ensures the front of the house and back of the house work closely together to deliver a culinary experience that exceeds the residents' expectations.

  • Work closely with Marketing and Community Life to ensure all resident special needs are met as well as to coordinate planning of unique events.

  • Along with the Executive Chef and General Manager meet regularly with residents and family members to confirm that high satisfaction levels are being delivered.

  • Advise Phoebe Berks' leadership of any concerns regarding residents.

  • Maintain high quality standards of equipment and facility maintenance.

  • Participate in menu planning.

  • Other duties assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervises employees front of the house, specifically the Bistro, Pub, Bell Alto, Brew & Chew and Catering staff.

  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.

  • Responsibilities include:

  • Interviewing

  • Hiring and training employees

  • Planning, assigning and directing work

  • Appraising performance

  • Rewarding and disciplining employees.

What we're looking for:

Must-haves:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Three years previous experience in fine dining.

  • Two years supervisory and management experience including hiring staff, coaching, performance management, daily operations supervision, discipline and counseling.

  • Serv Safe Certification

  • RAMP Certification

  • Excellent time management, attention to detail and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves:

  • An advanced degree in culinary arts or a related field.

Compensation:

$21.00 - $25.00 per hour DOE
