Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for an AMR/AMI Implementation Manager within our Meter & Automation Group. This remote position will lead water meter integration, deployment, and support within the Meter and Automation Group. This role requires occasional overnight travel.
This is a remote position. Due to minimum travel of 25%, candidates must live in
Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana or Wyoming.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the performance and development of Integration Specialists working across the country
Ensure the coordination of the material to the designated sites on higher profile project
Assist the utility and Integration Specialists to reach the Service Level Agreement with the meter manufacturer
Provide assistance with utility and Integration Specialist on a variety of support roles as they arise either in person or via email/phone communication
Assist Integration Specialist as needed in training AMR/AMI customers on the theory, operations, and troubleshooting of the AMR/AMI system
Develop and maintain relationships with the strategic vendors, vendors representatives whose support is critical to our success in the market
Invests company resources and dollars to grow market share while meeting company return on investment goals and budget commitments
Hire or develop Integration Specialist with the skills and leadership required to improve team performance and our ability to compete in the market
Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance to goals, market opportunities, the competitive environment and branch/corporate support requirements impacting their sales team performance
Conduct one-on-one review with all Integration Specialist to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of the Integration Specialist's ability, building customer relationships, implementing our product centric growth strategy, improving our overall profitability, and supporting strategies to improve team performance
Establish and support business processes providing customers and vendors with the timely, accurate information, service, and pricing required to meet their business needs, while meeting or exceeding company profitability goals and maintaining accurate records delineating our business commitments
Is aware of all project information: schedules, data requests, assignments, tasks, and project meetings
Prior Experience
3+ years of experience with water metering AMR/AMI field is highly preferred, but not required
Applies in-depth advanced knowledge and skills of a specific/specialized technical areas with understanding of external environment factors that may affect own specialist area
Provides expert advice, mentoring, and counseling with discipline/function area
Skills
Associate is expected to operate at the expert level across the following areas of technical knowledge and skill:
Presenting technical and general knowledge to audiences with differing expertise levels
Prior experience with AMR/AMI Metering
Verbal and written communication skills

$7,947.36 - $13,910.15
